Kenya Television Network (KTN) journalist Ali Manzu and British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) journalist Ian Wafula have mourned K24 journalist Daniel Chemjor.

Manzu wished the late journalist's family divine comfort as the struggle to come to terms with the death.

He also expressed his gratitude for the what he described as Chemjor's wise decisions in live events.

"RIP Daniel Chemjor Thank you for your wise decisions in matters live events. May God comfort your family during this difficult times, " Ali Manzu wrote on Twitter.

Ian Wafula, who worked for K24 before joining the ranks of the BBC, on his part recounted the time he had at K24 being directed by Chemjor.

He expressed his devastation at the news of Chemjor's passing.

"So devastating. His professionalism, calmness and the spirit of team work will be missed. I had such an easy time being directed by him while @K24Tv. May he Rest In Peace, " the BBC journalist wrote.

Chemjor died in Baringo County on Wednesday morning in a horrific road accident while on his way to see his newborn baby.

At the Media Max-owned K24 Television, he served as the head of the news directors.

He was heading to Kabarnet from Eldoret when the car he was travelling in veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge.
