Kipkorir, a loyal supporter of the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga, said he will not read it because he has already endorsed it even before he knows its contents.

In a tweet on Friday, he urged those opposed to it to read it once it is made public and then denounce it from a point of knowledge.

"On November 26, President Uhuru Kenyatta and H.E Raila Odinga will jointly receive BBI report and lead whole Kenya across River Jordan. For majority of us supporting, we’ll not read. ..But for minority opposing, they should read before opposing. To oppose before reading is Stupidity," Kipkorir tweeted.

BBI was formed following the March 9, 2018 handshake between Uhuru and Raila.

The duo formed a taskforce, chaired by Garissa Senator Yusuf Haji, which was mandated to move across the country collecting views on how to address Kenya's main challenges such as electoral violence and tribalism.

Speaking in Kibabii University on Friday, Uhuru asked Kenyans to thoroughly read the report before they criticise it.

He exuded confidence that it contains recommendations which will ensure that there is peace and unity in the country.

“Let us just take time to got through it together and to come out with good things that can make our country even better, more united and that make our institutions more inclusive,” said Uhuru.
