1. Bank loan or credit card scam 

At times we need to think deeply to avoid falling into these traps. Nowadays, scammers use bank offers to swindle your account. Some send a pre-approved loan that guarantees you a large amount of money after paying a certain mandatory fee. 

We all the know the process of securing a loan, right? You have to sign the necessary forms and all that.

Ask yourself how can this be possible without you signing these documents and the bank checking your financial status. When the deal is too good, think twice. The scammers will convince you to pay a certain fee for your loan to be approved immediately and because some of us are in desperate need of money, we end up being tricked by the fraudsters.

 2. Lottery scam

Imagine getting a congratulatory message that you have a won a huge amount of money yet you never participated in any lottery game. The scammers will usually inform you that you are required to pay a small fee before you receive your cash price. Don't send your money, you will be conned. 

3. Online dating scam

It is difficult to stop using social media apps like Facebook since this is where we interact with people in our circle and also make new friends. Some people have met their soulmates on Facebook. As much as these apps are a great way of making new connections, be careful with the kind of people you interact with. Some of the people you meet on these apps will use sneaky approaches to get your personal details and commit cybercrime.
