Speaking during an interview with NTV on Thursday, Mukhisa Kituyi said that he is ready to come back into the country to offer his leadership.

He said that his retirement will be an ideal moment for him to prove to the world that Kenya has good leaders as well as citizens who mean for this nation.

The Former Kimilili Member of Parliament said that he loves his country.

"When I leave the UN and become a free citizen, I will dedicate the rest of my life in helping to prove Kenya has enough citizens who can never be held hostage by thieves forever," he said in an interview shared on Twitter.

On the war against graft, Mukhisa Kituyi said that the government needs to go an extra mile to curb the vice.

He reiterated that the arrests being made around the country will not change the current state of affairs unless action is taken at the end of the day.

The NCTAD SG challenged leaders from different sides of the political divides to support President Uhuru Kenyatta in the fight to end massive runaway graft in different offices.

"Govt should go beyond arresting and charging people, we want criminals jailed," he noted.
