The veteran leader who hails from the ruling Jubilee Party on Thursday indicated that he will support ODM's Imran Okoth.

Speaking on Saturday, former Makadara MP Benson Mutura observed that support for Okoth means that Kamanda has decamped to ODM.

He challenged him to, therefore, leave his party position and get an ODM nomination, claiming that he is occupying a seat meant for Persons living With Disabilities.

"He is aware he was given a seat meant for the disabled. Let him leave and be nominated by ODM (Yeye anajua alipewa kiti ya walemavu, sasa aondoke ateuliwe na ODM)," he said.

Mutura made the remarks on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi show on Saturday morning.

Kamanda surprised many after declaring that he will not support Jubilee's Mcdonald Mariga in the coming polls. According to Kamanda, Kibra is an ODM stronghold.
