Political analyst Tom Nduko has said that President Uhuru Kenyatta is on the right track with regards to winning his reignited war against the troublesome corruption menace.
This, he on Wednesday based on Uhuru's newfound technique of drawing heads of the involved bodies from the intelligence department, which be observed is a good move.
Nduko says that the fact that intelligence officers are trained on how to deal with all types of people makes them better placed to combat graft, a trick Uhuru has discovered.
He added that at the same time, the officers know exactly how to react and keep their operations under wraps, which makes it easier to deal with the corrupt, who are also clever.
"In the intelligence unit, you encompass people from all units and sectors. Look at where they are now, and they are not speaking," he said.
This was in reference to Director of Public Persecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji and Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti, both of whom are former spies.
Nduko, also an American-trained security expert made the remarks on KBC English Service's The Big Conversation Show on Wednesday morning.
He predicted fruits soon, opining that the ongoing arrests and prosecutions will soon earn the country some top convictions.
"Uhuru has realized that he needs people of character and soon people will see heads rolling," he added.
