Renowned lawyer and socio-political commentator Donald Kipkorir has paid Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti a courtesy call.
Lawyer Kipkorir revealed the courtesy call in an afternoon tweet in which he described the investigations boss as a longtime friend.
He showered Mr Kinoti with praises, hailing the work that the DCI supremo is doing in bringing the corrupt to book.
"Today, I paid a courtesy call on my longtime friend & client George Kinoti, Director of Directorate of Criminal Investigations... DCI Kinoti is making the corrupt, thieves & murderers panic... Those who have stolen public money can’t even enjoy their money... The war must be won!" Donald Kipkorir's tweet read.
The city-based lawyer represented George Kinoti in a contempt of court case filed by Sarah Wairimu, the wife of late Dutch businessman Tob Cohen.
In a picture shared on the lawyer's Twitter feed, the two are seen trading banter and laughing while at it, a testament to their friendship.
Donald Kipkorir disparaged Sarah Wairimu's contempt application as a love sonnet, rejecting the claim that his client in any way acted in contempt of a court order issued by Justice Jessie Lesiit.
Sarah Wairimu is the main suspect in the death of her husband Tob Cohen.
