President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday stopped construction of Sh28 billion Kimwarer project, besides cutting down the cost of Arror dam.

The dams have dominated the country's politics for over a year now, leading to sacking of former Treasury boss Henry Rotich and a host of politicians.

In a scathing attack against Ruto, the former Kitutu Masaba MP said Uhuru exposed his DP, adding that time has come for him to openly tell the second in command off.

"When the president cancelled the project and recommended revision of the cost of the other one, he exposed his DP. That is an indication that there is corruption.

"The DP has been defending those projects for all wrong reasons. The most honorable thing for him to do now is to just resign. By doing that, he will prove that he's committed in graft purge," he said.

Mr Bosire further wondered why Dr Ruto has never rebuked some of his allies who openly contradict the president, adding that they have dragged graft war.

"He never questions what the likes of Murkomen say in public. He contradicts his own boss. Time has just come for him to resign with immediate effect."

Mr Bosire has been leading anti-Ruto campaigns in Gusii, often accusing him of launching ghost projects which are yet to commence.

The DP has toured Gusii region for a record twenty times since 2018. A group of leaders allied to Raila Odinga and Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i have been leading campaigns against him.
