Nyoro, who succeeded incumbent Governor Ferdinard Waititu in the acting capacity, has now resolved to the corridors of Justice as he seeks to get the greenlight to make changes to the cabinet after he was stopped from the same.

He has now said that he is not able to deliver on his services because of the cabinet.

Mr Nyoro, through lawyer Kibe Mungai, has insisted that he has the mandate to change the CECs at his own volition, adding that he is out to deliver on the promises he made to the residents when he was given the mandate to assume office.

This is after Justice Onesmus Makau barred him from making any changes to Waititu’s team on the grounds that he was only acting as a governor.

He argued that unless the orders are lifted, it is going to be a nightmare for him to fulfil his pledges.

He argued that some of the CECs have been hampering his efforts to restructure his government’s plan. He also questioned whether the past court had the mandate to issue him with such an order.

“In view of the foregoing, the proceedings herein should be stayed and the conservatory orders granted pending inter parties hearing,” Mr Mungai submitted, as quoted by Daily Nation.

Waituti has been barred from accessing the office after he was involved in graft related case. The governor has been fighting to access his office pending probe into the matter.
