Recently some artists have released songs which calls for action to be taken by Kenyans. They express the political crisis, poverty, bribery and joblessness that face the country.

Some of these artists are;

1. King Kaka

He has many names like Rabbit, Kaka Sungura and King Kaka but his real name is Kevin Ombima. 

He recently released a song titled 'Wajinga Nyinyi' which clearly addressed the problems Kenyans are facing. In the song, he addresses politicians among them the president, blaming them for engaging in corruption. He talks about heavy taxes, unemployment and tribalism that has hindered the progress of Kenya.

2. Sauti Sol and Nyashinski

The collaboration of the outspoken band that has represented Kenya well in the international music scene and the talented Nyashinski brought a song dubbed 'Tujiangalie' alive.

In the song, the musicians called for self-reflection among Kenyans and also indicated that the country is at a worse state than it was left by its founding fathers.

3. Sarabi

The band released a song named Sheria in 2013. 

This song addresses problems such as corruption and attributes it to the failure of citizens to follow the law. It further advises Kenyans to follow the law if they want a positive progression.
