For Maendeleo Chap Chap to win and retain the gubernatorial seat in the coming election, Mutua, the party leader, has to do extra things so as to make the party be that strong to face other political parties in 2022.

Among the things he should do are:

Conduct a fair party primary

Party nomination is one of the things Governor Mutua should focus on if he wants Maendeleo Chap Chap party to win the 2022 Machakos gubernatorial seat.

As a party leader, he should make sure that the party nomination is conducted in a peaceful way and no candidate will be favoured. The openness in the party will attract many people in the region as they will believe in them.

He should also understand the effect of division in the party if party nomination were not conducted in the right way.

Unite his candidates in the party

Unity is what makes a party be that successful. Maendeleo Chap Chap party retaining Machakos gubernatorial seat in 2022 will depend on how Mutua will shuffle his cards in the party.

He will have to make sure that there are no wrangles in the party that can make them be that weak to their opponents. He will have to be a true leader who can unite the party members and make them sing one song in the election. Doing that will guarantee the party victory in the coming election.

Provide a good party manifesto

The Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader should develop a good party manifesto that will favour Machakos people at general. A manifesto that will represent peoples' ideology in the county. Having a good manifesto will make the party be people's choice in the election. This is because many people in the county will feel their ideas have been represented well by the party.
