Speaking during the official opening of Kipaji Talent Centre in Rarieda Constituency, Orengo said that Ruto has resorted to engaging in sideshows at the expense of the development.

The senator also noted that calls for the resignation of party’s secretary General Raphael Tuju are a clear indication that all is not well in Jubilee.

He noted that the DP is using underhand tactics to frustrate the president as he seeks to leave behind a legacy before he completes his second and final term in government.

According to Orengo, Tuju played an immense role in ensuring that President Uhuru ascends to power when he was seeking re-election into office. He also noted that the former Rarieda MP stood with the Jubilee Party at the time he was needed most and now they want to kick him out.

“Tuju is a very clinical player in the governance of this country as a Cabinet Secretary and Secretary General of the ruling party Jubilee… And those trying to plead that Tuju can go out of the positions he has at the moment, you are not the appointing authorities. So the deputy president must learn not to undermine the head of state,” said Orengo, as quoted by Citizen Digital.
