Speaking on Saturday, the commentator narrated how he warned the man, an important organ in Raila's think tank, that the team had to prepare to battle Uhuru, who was the deputy prime minister in the coalition government at the time.

However, he said that his remarks were immediately rubbished by the latter who claimed that having produced two presidents, the Kikuyu community would be too guilty to again front another candidate for the slot.

"I told him, late 2011 early 2012, that all the problems they were anticipating Raila would have, the biggest would be Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta," said Manyora on his YouTube analysis channel Take it or Leave It.

He added that the conversation almost turned chaotic, adding that he was insulted for making the prediction, with the Raila ally terming his remarks baseless.

However, the prediction not only came to pass, but Uhuru proceeded to beat Raila in the race.

"It became confrontational, he insulted me. This guy told me there is no way the Kikuyu's were going to produce another president in 2012. The shame alone would not allow them even to imagine that they can go for the presidency," he said.
