It is rare to see Diamond come out without a chain either on his wrists or neck.

However, the singer faces challenges when it comes to getting those chains, forcing him to go for generic ones.

In a recent interview with Bongo Five, Diamond said sometimes he mixes original and generic chains to pop up the good look.

Diamond said that limited availability of original chains in Tanzania forces him to buy generic ones.

Diamond added that even though he mixes fake and original chains, his frequent travel has exposed him to original chain markets.

"I stopped using fake chains, sometimes you can mix. You can buy and own original chains but sometimes you cannot manage to go for new fashions that have not been imported into the country, so you can come across something not original but good, you put it on, you mix. We cannot say everything is new, we put them on, but mostly my chains are original because I travel a lot. (Hamna, mi nishawacha chain fake..sometimes you can mix.

He insisted that most artistes can manage to buy and own original chains, but because they are not readily available locally, they end up with generic ones.
