On Wednesday, 26 KCSE candidates were arrested in Eastleigh after they were found with mobile phones by area chief Jawahir Musa.

The candidates were sitting for their exams at St Teresa Boys’ Secondary School, in Eastleigh, Nairobi when they were busted with at least 35 mobile phones hidden between their thighs.

Magoha said he will seek the direct of President Uhuru Kenyatta in the matter to promote Musa.

“I will personally intercede on her [chief’s] behalf and tell the president to consider her for a promotion. We are sending a strong message that there is a prize for being truthful and patriotic," said Magoha on Friday at St Georges Girls' High School in Nairobi.

“Jawahir was bold enough to recover the phones that had been hidden between the legs of the learners,” he added.

He called for intense frisking of all candidates countrywide after this incident.
