Former presidential candidate Mohammed Abduba Dida now says the African continent continues to give shocking images, judging by the happenings in the political field.

In a tweet on Wednesday, he observed that the country has joined other countries where government chiefs are making questionable moves and declarations.

He said in Kenya, tables have been turned on Deputy President William Ruto, who according to him has been toppled by opposition boss Raila Odinga.

According to the former presidential aspirant, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) boss is now ruling the government while Ruto has been thrown into the opposition.

"HE Ali Bongo of Gabon is sick and unfit to hold office but has refused to resign. HE Magufuli of Tanzania has declared that he shall not  relinquish power! In Kenya, the opposition leader is now ruling while the DP is officially leading the opposition. Just another day in Africa!" he tweeted.

Earlier this week, Tiaty MP William Kamket also made the same claims.

In an interview with Citizen TV on Monday, Kamket opined that the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Odinga threw Ruto in the opposition.
