Meru Senator Minthika Linturi’s estranged wife Maryanne Kitany has spilt beans on their love affair before things fell apart.

While sharing the details before a Magistrate Court, Kitany recalled how the Senator used to go for sleepovers at her place before the rain started beating them. 

Kitany claimed that the Senator used to stay in a rented four bedroomed house in Bitha before he moved into her house in Kileleshwa.

She also revealed that the Senator skipped a parliamentary session where he was expected to table an impeachment motion against Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru to spend time with her at the at Sopa Lodges in Naivasha.

She further said that it was during this time, they decided to take their love affair to the next level after the Linturi fell in love with her.

She also said that the members of the public felt that she was the one sponsoring the motion to sent Waiguru home when she used to serve the devolution docket. 

“We were in Sopa lodges… parliament was going on and the public felt that I had given him money to sponsor the motion,” she said as quoted by Citizen Digital.

Kitany further said that it was after the meeting that the Senator started going to her place for sleepovers then finally moved into her house.

“We came back to Nairobi and slowly by slowly he started coming to Kileleshwa for sleepovers, stay for days and finally he started living with me in Kileleshwa,” she added.
