Tanzanian highly rated singer Diamond Platnumz has celebrated his 2019 success in his music career by reminding West Africa artistes how they used to enjoy and top Africa music chats all alone.

On Wednesday, Diamond took to social media to celebrate two of his major hit songs of 2019, 'Yope Remix and Inama', after they hit forty million views on YouTube.

He also recalled how other African artistes from the West were much celebrated than the rest.

"Our brothers from the West were so unfair on us but this year they have seen we have also decided, Kigoma I wish that you know what is coming to happen on 31st Dec (Another 40+ Million Viewers...Walitunyanyasaga sana ndugu zetu wa Magharibi ila Mwaka huu wameona Kua nasi Tumeamua...KIGOMA!!! KIGOMA!!! Natamani mjue yanayokuja kufanyika huko tareh 31 Dec," Diamond posted.

In recent years, singers from West Africa, mostly from Nigeria and Ghana, have been leading from the top in the entertainment industry, with most of their songs gaining more than 20 million viewers on YouTube, which is the largest video sharing platform.

However, Diamond has been one of the artistes from the East Africa region who has been giving the Nigerians a competition of its kind.

Diamond has been hitting over 20 million views in recent days, especially when the song is a collabo with other artistes.
