The Somali community has dominated in different areas. The members of this community are great businessmen, politicians, and scholars.

Although they are ever fighting the terrorism links, Somalis have made Kenya proud in different areas. Here are 5 most influential Somalis in Kenya. The list is, however, subject to correction.

1. Aden Duale

Duale is among the Somali who needs no introduction.  The Garissa town MP is also the National Assembly Majority Leader. He enjoys massive support not only in Garissa but also the entire nation. Hate him or love him, Duale does what he knows best.

2. Abdikadir Mohammed

He is the Senior Adviser, Constitutional and Legal Affairs, Executive Office of the President.  He has worked with powerful Kenyans including the likes of Attorney-General Githu Muigai and Solicitor-General Njee Muturi, Abdikadir.

His experience and knowledge in the field of education have made him one of the most powerful Somalis in Kenya.

3. CS Amina Mohammed

The former Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Trade is another powerful leader from the community. She is the current CS education.  She is a lawyer by profession. Over years, she has been asked to join politics, though she is yet to do so.

4) Ahmednassir Abdullahi

Senior Counsel Grand Muller remains one of the most powerful Somalis in the nation. Abdullahi pocketed millions during the 2013 Presidential petition. The smart lawyer has become a role model to many youths in the field of law.

5. Farah Maalim

Maalim once acted as the Deputy Speaker. The former lawmaker has been giving Duale sleepless nights. Despite losing to the Majority leader, Maalim remains a force to reckon with in the nation.
