Breakups are tough to handle and stay in. You will find yourself always coming back after that 'last' fight. If you and your ex are always in this never-ending makeup-then-breakup cycle, these are the five reasons that are taking you back.

1 Happy ending

You have invested a lot in this relationship and you feel it cannot end just like that. The ending must be a happy one, so you will go back to mend issues so that perhaps in future the end is good.

2. Doing it for the kids

For partners who have had kids together, it becomes heartbreaking to see them split from their parents and siblings. So you always come back to your partners to make amends and try it out another round.

3. Coming back for convenience

In some cases, some partners find living away from their estranged partner a difficult thing to cope with. After assuming that you would make it on your own, it finally turns out how tough it is to go alone. So however incompatible you and your partner are, you come back and try to make it work out again.

But this lasts a short period before you again discover you and your partner are incompatible.

4. You can't stay single

Someone may be used to staying in a relationship and so the thought of staying single becomes scary. When you cannot find another suitable partner of your taste, you will always go back to the old 'criminal'.

5. For the fun of it

Some couples enjoy the break-up-make-up thing. Coming back together after a fight and separation is what they enjoy.

This always occurs in relationships where the partners have not mastered their effective ways of communication. So they will celebrate being together at the convenient times and then switch back to their lonely corners when the fun of company is over.
