Highly celebrated Bongo star Ali Kiba has revealed that he was a badly behaved student during his schooling time.
Speaking during a visit to his former primary school, the 'Mwana' hitmaker said that he was naughty in school but still attentive in class.
"For sure I was so naughty, I was badly behaved, together with my friends, I was naughty but also able to concentrate in school. (Kiukweli nilikuwa mtundu sana, mimi nilikuwa mtundu sana, tulikuwa na wenzangu, nilikua mtundu sana lakini pia nilikua na-concentrate sana shuleni)," said King Kiba in a video shared on Instagram by Rick Media this Saturday.
Ali Kiba recalled that one of the stupid things he did in school was to running away from school to go to the mosque for Friday prayers.
According to the singer, he together with other three students, used a flag post to move from their upstairs classroom where they had been locked up for not having completed their assignments.
Their teacher did not allow them to go for prayers without completing his classwork.
"But on that particular Friday, our teacher did not allow us to leave without finishing homework. My friends and I we jumped on a flag post and used it to get out from our locked class. We then lied to the watchman and left to the mosque.
"That was the stupid thing we did. (Lakini siku hiyo kuna mwalimu wetu mmoja hivi alisema leo hamuendi kokote kwa sababu hatukua tumemaliza homework. Mimi na wenzangu kama watatu tulidandia bomba la bendera tukashuka nalo mpaka chini....tukamdanganya mlinzi tukatoka, hicho ndio kitu cha kipumbavu ambacho tulifanya)," Ali Kiba recalled.
