The county boss said he has agreed to work with Odinga and other like-minded persons, as he seeks to leave behind a legacy upon completion of his second term in office.

He, however, did not reveal the exact date when Odinga will visit Machakos.

“I will work with leaders who are clean and who have an agenda for transforming this country and not dividing us. I’m happy that H.E Rt Hon Raila Odinga has agreed to my invite to visit Machakos soon on an official development tour,” he said in part.

Mutua hailed Odinga for the support he has accorded President Kenyatta, adding that the economy can only thrive where there is peaceful coexistence among citizens.

“We have agreed that it is important to create an enabling environment for economic growth. Kenya is way behind where it is supposed to be. We agreed that it is important to reclaim our glory and place Kenya at her rightful place in the League of Nations,” he added.
