Nyoro has over the last three days pointed at Interior PS Karanja Kibicho as the man behind his troubles, including his Monday arrest, allegedly for political reasons.

Kosgei on Wednesday echoed the remarks, lashing out at the persons behind the alleged plot to force the youthful MP into submission, urging them to cease harassing the MP.

He warned that there is no need for the PS and his people to use their power to victimize Nyoro as they will with time end up out of their offices, and might get payback.

He claimed that its the same people who have been rocking the Jubilee Party from within, referring to the widening rift between President Uhuru Kenyatta and deputy William Ruto.

"I want to caution them that power is temporary. And its the same people who are trying to break the government which we won't allow (Nawatahadharisha sana, power ni ya muda. Na ni hawa hawa ndio wanataka kuharibu serikali hii lakini hatutakubali)," he said on Radio Maisha, Wednesday morning.

The lawmaker also bashed the PS for misusing his position, in relation to Nyoro's claim he heard the PS giving orders after his arrest.

According to Kosgei, it is the same people who are trying to return the nation to the dark days where people were punished for not sharing the opinions of those holding top slots.

"This government has come a long way, Kenya has also come a long way. But it seems there are people holding top slots who think they own all the power (Hii serikali imetoka mbali, Kenya imetoka mbali. Inaonekana kuna watu wanashikilia nyadhifa kuu wanaodhani nguvu yote ni yao), he added.

Nyoro has since claimed that the plot is to force him into denouncing Deputy President William Ruto whose presidential candidature he has been selling in Mt Kenya, vowing to stay put.
