Speaking during an interview on KTN on Wednesday, the lawmaker said that the second in command made a grave for alleging that his life is in danger.

He said that the Deputy President should take into account the legal and political impacts of the claims before starting the same.

“The card he has played is a very dangerous one,” Kamket said, as quoted by Standard.

He also said that he will front the motion to impeach the Deputy President if need be.

He noted that Ruto, who is considered as one of the frontrunners in the race for power, has proven beyond doubt that he cannot make a good President.

He further noted that it is unfortunate for him to make such allegations when he is tasked with service delivery.

The remarks come after the court freed Social media guru Denis Itumbi over the assassination story. Itumbi was arrested and questioned over the fake letter in the saga.

His request to play a video recording of what transpired at the La Mada Hotel proved futile after the presiding judge rejected the same.
