Israelis return to the ballot on Tuesday, September, 17 barley five months after their last election, in yet another race dubbed too close to call.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, called the snap polls after failing to form a coalition government five months after the last polls.
Like it was in April, Netanyahu finds himself in a not so favourable position with the opinion polls suggesting that he will fail to garner the required outright majority if he's to form a non-coalition government.
Netanyahu's main antagonist in the current poll is the former IDF chief of staff, Benny Grant, the leader of the Blue and White party, the same man they went neck-and-neck with back in April.
In an attempt to whip up his base, Netanyahu has resorted in unorthodox means including urging his supporters to abstain from sex during the poll day, by claiming that voting is more important than sex.
He has also claimed to be in a losing position already unless his supporters come out in numbers to alter the situation.
"Right now, we're losing, If you go out and vote Likud, we'll win." reports the CNN
In the last polls, both PM Netanyahu's Likud party and Grant's Blue and White party came out with 35 seats each, out of a possible 120-seat Knesset. Either party will hope for better fortunes and a clear majority in Tuesday's polls.
