Posta is accusing the county chief of grabbing its parcel of land located in Makongeni area, near Thika Town.

The process reportedly began on Thursday, last week, at the piece of land adjacent to the Madaraka Post Office.

The corporation has since written a protest letter to Waititu's office and is threatening to file a suit should the land not be returned.

According to Post Master General Dan Kagwe, the county did not obtain the corporation's consent to begin the construction of a bus terminus on the 1.9 acre piece of land.

However, Waititu has rubbished the allegations, claiming that the land was lying idle.

According to the corporation, the land was not idle and had been petitioned and leased out to four clients.

Construction of the terminal aimed at decongesting Garissa Road is already underway, reports Citizen Digital.

The county government is not new to such cases and has already received another court order ordering it to vacate another piece of land owned by the same corporation on which it has put up yet another bus stage.
