The woman was rushed to the Vihiga County Referral Hospital after being involved in a motorbike hospital, but died minutes later after medics allegedly took time to attend to her.

In a chilling two minute clip that is making rounds on social media, the woman is seen begging staff at the hospital to attend to her, saying that she would die if not attended to.

“Help me, please, I will die," she says in frail voice as blood oozes from her injuries, but her pleas seem to land on deaf ears, with the staff refusing even to give her first aid service.

Attempts by a good samaritan who had rushed her to the hospital to intervene were also futile, with a staff member nearby being heard asking about her details before admitting her.

The injured woman then pleads to be taken to the Mbale Hospital but would succumb to her injuries moments later.

"This discussion will not help… Take me to Mbale please. Please take me to Mbale… Take me to Mbale General Hospital, my mother will pay,” she said.

The incident was on Friday confirmed by Victor Wetende, County Communications Director, who claimed that the woman was later attended to but did not make it.

"Indeed it is true the patient was brought to our referral hospital. She was attended to but it was too late,” he is quoted by the Standard.
