In a tweet on Tuesday, the lawyer wondered why no one was advising Governor Waititu not to keep showing up in President Uhuru Kenyatta's functions.

Describing Waitutu as an ex-governor, Kipkorir held the view that the Kenyan head of state was not keen on seeing the governor who has been barred from office for the duration of a lawsuit he faces.

"Doesn’t ex-Governor Ferdinand Waititu have real friends? Why can’t they advise him not to look stupid trolling the president in all his functions? Even his family can’t? The President won’t see him. He needs to find a new purpose in life. He said he has many lorries; manage them, " Lawyer Kipkorir said.

His comments come a few days after the governor swore to open a new office after the Senate allowed him to continue carrying duties as a county chief despite an earlier a court ruling by Magistrate Mugambi that barred him from transacting any county business.

A supremacy tussle looms between him and his deputy  Dr James Nyoro who has made changes to the cabinet that Waititu has dismissed.
