Speaking on NTV's SideBar show on Wednesday night, the lawmaker said the party is indeed divided down the middle, with each side surviving of its own.

The MP who has since been branded a rebel noted that on one side is the President Uhuru Kenyatta-allied team and on the other is Deputy President William Ruto's, adding that each side has its own separate mission.

"Jubilee is divided and it is divided on ideologies," said the vocal lawmaker who has been associating with the pro-Uhuru side, popularly known as 'Kieleweke'.

According to Kutuny, the 'Kieleweke' team is advocating for transparency, good leadership and and a full fight against the runaway corruption in the country but DP Ruto's 'Tanga Tanga' was frustrating the war on corruption and embracing tribalism and manipulation in their politicking system.

"Our side led by the President advocates for transparency, accountability, fighting corruption and uniting Kenyans. On the other hand, Tanga Tanga's motto is divisive politics and tribal profiling," he said.

"They are perpetuating corruption and intimidating anti-corruption institutions yet they are in government, that is our point of departure," added the MP.
