Highly rated artist Diamond Platnumz has disclosed why he did not put a ring on his Kenyan lover Tanasha Donna's finger.
Diamond recently held a birthday party for his lover Tanasha Donna but could not use the opportunity for engagement with the NRG Radio presenter who is 7 months pregnant.
He has said he did not want to predict, adding that engagements on birthdays are too common nowadays, likening it to being uncivilized (ushamba).
The highly hyped birthday party was considered to be an ideal opportunity for the 'Kanyaga' hitmaker to bend down and at least propose to Tanasha.
Diamond went on his knees as most of the visitors expected, only for him to kiss Tanasha's belly.
In a recent interview, Diamond said that he prefers to be unique to the existing odds.
"Everything has plans, Tanzanians like predictions, but I like to be the opposite. I also did not want my engagement to happen at such a place, I knew people expected it but I did not want it that way.
"My dream to engage my lover was not to be that way, so many people have done that way, it is like being uncivilized

Diamond has also said he will soon be holding a baby shower.
