A group of women leaders allied to DP William Ruto had to postpone their meeting in Nyeri when a group of rowdy youths stormed and started chanting pro-Uhuru slogans.

And in a scathing attack targeting Mr Ngunjiri, Sudi dismissed him as a politician 'less of a woman', adding that he may never waste time responding to him in future.

As I said earlier on, Ngunjiri Wambugu is less of a woman. He provoked me the other time and I told him that Women MPs were entitled to respond to him. Amewaaibisha sana watu wa Nyeri Town. Oneni sasa," he said.

Maragua MP Mary Waithira and Kandara MP Alice Wahome pointed fingers at Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu, alleging he was behind the chaos witnessed earlier in the meeting.

“We will not allow anyone to intimidate women, we do not have to ask for permission to hold a meeting in this constituency,” she said.

In his response, Ngunjiri who had accused police of intimidating President Uhuru Kenyatta's supporters, took responsibility, arguing that he will not allow people to politic in his constituency.

"Am sorry. But #2022 siasa in Nyeri Constituency. At this time is a No," wrote Wambugu, after forcefully storming the rally that was later called off.

Both Sudi and Ngunjiri have clashed in the past. While Wambugu supports President Uhuru Kenyatta, Sudi is a staunch supporter of DP William Ruto.
