In a sarcastic tweet on Thursday, Winnie noted that there was a tendency to write about the former Prime Minister, who ironically is also a published author.

The ODM boss has written two books; 'The Flame of Freedom' and 'The Quest for Nationhood: Roadmap to Our Future'.

There is also a biography, 'Raila Odinga: An Enigma in Kenyan Politics', written by a Nigerian author Babafemi A. Badejo.

Winnie, 29, and who is Raila's youngest daughter scornfully said she will soon consider producing a film about her father.

"Everyone is writing a book about Raila. Raila has written a book about Raila. Raila has written another book about Raila. Others have written more books about Raila. I'm about to make a movie about Raila," she posted on Twitter.

Her remarks come barely a day after ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi launched his book which extensively talks about Raila and his political career.

In one of the chapters in the book, Mudavadi claims Raila got into the handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta due to pressure from diplomats, and financial constraints after his close allies elected in 2017 polls were taken to court through petitions.

“We learnt that the financial capacity to handle these cases was not there. Basically the situation was becoming unbearable,” he writes in 'Soaring Above the Storms of Passion'.

However, ODM director of communications Philip Etale and Siaya Senator James Orengo have dismissed the remarks as false.
