According to the commission, 133 courses being offered in several universities across the country are not only a waste of time but also money on the part of the students.

The commission has advised students to rethink about their course before they find themselves jobless after many years of schooling.

The rejected courses have an enrollment capacity of 10,000 slots.

Students have been asked to check all the courses the commission has approved before enrolled for any of them for the sake of the future.

The main concern, in this case, is those students who have completed or on their way to complete courses which have been listed among the useless one.

Vice Chancellors (VC) have accused the commission of not taking into account the voice of the students as far as the courses are concerned.CUE Chief Executive Officer Mwenda Ntarangwi has, however, said that they are still holding talks with the affected institutions to see the way forward.
