Uhuru has since vowed to focus his efforts in wiping out the menace as well as dealing with anyone who stands in the way of the reignited push.

Speaking on Tuesday, Otuoma praised the Head of State, noting that he is on the right track in the anti-graft war and has taken the right path in ridding the nation of the menace.

"Uhuru yuko on the right track. Na hii kazi ambayo ameianza itakuwa ya manufaa makubwa kwa wakenya (Uhuru is on the right track, what he is doing will be of great benefit to Kenyans)," he said.

He also urged the President to ignore the noise emanating from Deputy President William Ruto's camp.

"Apuuze hizi kelele ndogo ndogo za watu wengine na afanye kazi yake (let him ignore the voices of those opposing the anti-graft war and concentrate on his job)," he added.

This comes at a time when Ruto and his team have questioned the anti-graft war, terming it a political weapon made to deliberately fight the DP by portraying him corrupt with a plan to bar him from vying for the presidency in 2022.
