When criminals commit what they are known for, all Kenyans turn their eyes to the police officers, especially detectives, who are best at tracing and fishing out their targets.

Tracing and locating suspects has never been a walk in the park, especially in this current generation where gangs have connections and even armed and dangerous.

It needs courage, skills and maximum dedication for any detective who wants to be successful in his or her mission.

One of the successful detectives in Kenya is the no-nonsense Jane Wawira Mugo, who never quit despite numerous death threats.

Mugo is the Chief Executive Officer at Trimo Security Solutions Limited, a private security firm for detectives.

One of the tasks planned and executed by Trimo Ltd is dated back in 2013 when a murder suspect went to a hideout in his village, Western Kenya.

The suspect was a gardener in the Nairobi’s South C estate before he was linked to the death of two sisters.

Mugo led her team to the western part of the country for a mission which seemed impossible, each of them taking different roles to the new village.

“One of our staff took the role of a motorcycle rider, another became a hawker, and I took the role of an NGO-aid worker donating flour in the village,” she said in an interview with Daily Nation.

Mission impossible was made possible within two weeks, the suspect was found receiving a share of God's message from one of the churches before they arrested him.

He was later taken to a court of law where he was found guilty.
