Kenya's weaknesses were exposed by an impressive Ghana on Saturday night, leaving coach Sebastien Migne with plenty of problems to address.

If they are to put up a show in this year AFCON competition or challenge for anything, the coach needs quick changes.

Here are some areas coach Migne needs to look into ahead of the tournament

Lack of concentration and understanding

As alluded to, there were too many moments when Harambee Stars switched off and Ghana's Black Stars were swift in punishing them.

Goalkeeper Patrick Matasi had a nightmare in goal, failing to clear balls inside the penalty area. Eventually, he was punished after he misjudged a timely shot from Caleb Ekuban to hand Ghana the win.

Migne is all-too-aware that mistakes like these will prove costly on the big stage. The defensive unit lacked communication and Migne will be alarmed at how his defense and goalkeeper failed to gel together.

No control in midfield

It was a tepid performance lacking any form of creativity, and having in mind that the midfield has only generated one goal in the qualifiers.

The goal came against Ethiopia when Michael Olunga and Erick Omondi linked up to score Kenya's second in their 3-0 triumph.

Kenya needs a deep-lying midfielder who will control games and create clear cut chances.

Lack of lethal strikers

No shot on target against Ghana sums up Kenya's attacking talent. Coach Migne will be desperate to get Michael Olunga fit ahead of the competition given the shortcomings of the alternatives.

Migne has two months to address the shortcomings ahead of AFCON in June.
