There has been talk of a Church of Satan being in operation in Nairobi for some years now.

Is there a story unfolding in your community? Let Hivisasa know

It is said that once they enter their building of prayer, the believers change the way they behave. For one, it is said that they believe nobody should be treated with any kindness or mercy.

Retaliation is encouraged and not forgiveness when one wrongs you.

But are these mere rumours or is there tangible evidence to show that the Church of Satan really exists as is alleged.

One clear thing that comes to the mind of a critical thinking person is that nobody has ever pointed a finger at where the temple building is. Is it here in Kibera or Kawangware?

Similarly, nobody has ever come to the public to claim to be part of the said sect; so where do all these details come from?

This could be a great indicator that all that is being said about the cult is mere fabrication and that there is nothing like that in Nairobi.

Just the way grandmothers warned us of ogres and other strange beings, religious leaders will want to use such modern-day ogres to scare their followers into sticking to their various faiths in the hope that God is on their side.

Worse still is that many among the priests are conmen who want to scare their followers into their places of worship every worship day so that what is collected as offering doubles.

Media outlets have apparently fallen into the trap, propagating the empty agenda of these preachers of terror who want to reap big from fear.

Unless someone comes with clear evidence and even takes us on a ride to the said church, everything else said is mere fear-mongering.
