Sitienei who spoke while in her constituency on Saturday termed reports of a rift in the Rift as mere propaganda mean to divide communities living in the region.

The first-time MP insisted that the Rift Valley, the backyard of Deputy President William Ruto is united like never before.

"We have no divisions in the Rift Valley. It's just a perception in the minds of a few individuals," said Sitienei.

"We are working as a unified team, we know what we want and we know what we are looking for in 2022," she added.

The Jubilee allied legislator further insisted that the vote-rich region will rally behind DP Ruto's 2022 Presidential bid.

She said they will support Ruto not because he is from the Rift Valley but because of the experience and development ideas he has for the nation.

"We are picking Ruto as our next president because of what he has, not because he is our son or from our region," said the MP who was on August 8, 2017, elected on an independent ticket.
