The 2018/19 semester is already underway and it has never seemed better and promising. The first year students from all across the country have already reported to the equatorial institution while the rest of the continuing students are to report latest 29th September subject to fourth years completing their exams.
With all the excitement and joy accompanying the idea of qualifying to join campus, it is a suicide mission for some, quite technically.
A good percentage of guys will want to get into a meaningful relationship on campus and try to find that life partner. As is the norm though, any guy will want what he perceives as 'attractive' and generally 'the best.'
Well, it seems the idea of the most attractive or 'most suited' partner to Maseno University guys is that a lady has to be light-skinned. Seems pretty awkward but it is the case, really.
Light-skinned ladies in Maseno University seem to attract a lot of guys and are quintessentially the subject of all love triangles that take place there. If guys fight or disagree over the love of a lady, it definitely has to be that she is light-skinned.
The same way a magnet attracts iron filings within its magnetic field, a light-skinned lady attracts all kinds of Maseno University guys anywhere they are spotted. From the Lecture rooms to their own hostels, it is never easy for the faint-hearted.
The disappointment and frustration as guys are rejected on a daily basis is not the only occurrence that is rife, rather, the fact that the light-skinned ladies have to always reject a few of them every day they wake up is sarcastically sad.
