In a tweet Saturday, Miguna urged Raila to stop his referendum push and concentrate on having the government implement court orders ordering his return to Kenya.

This comes at a time when the former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant remains exiled in Canada after taking part in Raila's mock presidential coronation early last year.

Miguna who has disapproved Raila's recent activities and association with President Uhuru Kenyatta now wants him to push for the realization of 15 court orders issued in his favour since February last year.

"The Constitution of Kenya 2010 with its robust Bill of Rights and the independence of the judiciary was supposed to end tyranny. Mr. Hand-Cheque must stop singing about the referendum until he insists on Uhuru Kenyatta obeying the 15 court orders in my favour," he said.

The former Nairobi governor aspirant has been strongly against Raila's March 9, 2018 handshake with the President.

He has since nicknamed the former Prime Minister 'the handchequer', claiming that their truce was money-related.

Raila and Miguna were close allies in opposing Uhuru's August 8 and October 26, 2017 reelections but parted ways after the deportation.

Miguna has since refused to reapply for his Kenyan citizenship and has been ordered by the immigration department.
