The Mr. and Miss Moi University 2018/19 event which went down on Friday night at the university's students centre was filled with a lot of performances from various artists.

All the artists from rappers, singers, dancers and spoken word masters who touched the stage left the crowd begging for more.

Some of the local artists who performed during the university's annual fashion event included Jana Band, Browns, Sheikh Mkristo, Bella Muziki among others.

Of course, the ultimate performance came from gospel artists Hope kid and Guardian Angel.

The two artists went and performed on stage together contrary to the expectations of many. It was indeed quite interesting to watch the two gospel dancehall artists share the stage.

Before Hopekid and Guardian Angel concluded their performance, they called on stage two artists from the university for a challenge.

Among the two was Bella Muziki who was challenged to sing some of Guardian Angel's hit songs. Bella blew away the entire audience with her powerful vocals. Guardian Angel was without a doubt touched by her performance.

What followed was something that no one saw coming. Guardian Angel who was evidently impressed by Bella's talent offered the student a chance to record a song with him.

"That was extremely good. You will have to take my number and travel to Nairobi so that we can record a song," Guardian Angel stated to the surprise of many.

It was indeed a chance that many would have killed for.

Speaking with Bella on phone though, she said it was too bad that she had to let the deal go since she is signed to another music label.

“I am a secular artist and Guardian is a gospel artist and therefore it might be hard for us to work together. Plus, I am already signed to another music label,” Bella said.

Kenya needs more artists like Guardian Angel who are ready and willing to support and grow young talents.
