In a tweet Friday night, the opposition activist claimed that the reconciliation and the unity that seems to follow it will again have a bad ending for Raila's supporters.

He predicted trouble for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) tribesmen in Luo Nyanza, who have always carried the burden of his backfired unions with sitting Presidents.

Miguna said that just like the truce between founding Vice President Jaramogi Oginga and founding father Jomo Kenyatta earlier, this too will be politically bad upon collapse.

The same was repeated in 1998 and 2002 when Raila united with presidents Daniel Moi and Mwai Kibaki respectively, ending up in political wrangles when they parted ways.

Miguna, also a Luo from Kisumu County, now says that the ongoing romance between the former Prime Minister and Uhuru is a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.

"The so-called "unity" between Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga resembles what his father, Jaramogi, thought that he had with Jomo Kenyatta in 1962, and what Raila thought he had with Moi in 1998 and Kibaki in 2002.

It will end very badly, especially for Luos, as it did before!" he claimed.

He has been opposed to the handshake since its establishment and has repeatedly claimed that money changes hands, renaming it the 'hand cheque'.

The former Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful is expected back in Kenya this April from Canada where he has been exiled to.
