Various sources have come to the public with alleged evidence linking Kidero to the said theft which brought the giant miller to its knees in a period of one year.

Among leaders who have called for the immediate prosecution of Kidero are Mumias East MP Benjamin Washiali who has insisted that new evidence has put Kidero in the centre of the crimes.

"Following a review of the report and supporting evidence provided by J Miles and Company, the authority initiated several enforcement actions in July 2017 against three former managers and former board member. The individuals include former managing director Evans Kidero, former senior manager Paul Kimutai Murgor and Peter Hongo, a former board member," said Washiali.

"The DCI and DPP have all evidence required based on the CMA report, several Parliament reports and a report by KPMG an international financial forensic firm which strongly implicated Kidero and his accomplices. We the stakeholders who directly and indirectly benefit from the company want him be charged ahead of lifestyle audit," the legislator added.
