According to the controversial lawyer, Ojwang’s days at the Supreme Court are numbered.

This came after he refused to appear before the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) to defend himself against bribery claims.

The lawyer took to his Twitter handle and shared an article about the Supreme Court Judge’s woes and captioned: “The chickens have come home to roost.”

Ojwang now risks going home after Chief Justice David Maraga-led team asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to form a tribunal to investigate his conduct.

The CJ said he regrets the fact that Ojwang failed to present himself before the commission to shed more light on the allegations levelled against him. The stellar career enjoyed by Ojwang’ now is at risk.

Analysts believe Kenyatta’s succession politics have influenced the twists and turns at the Apex court.

Ojwang’s woes began when 13 residents of Awendo filed a case against the Awendo Town Council at the High Court in Kisii.

The Judge reportedly ruled in favour of Migori governor, Okoth Obado, whose government had a major interest in the case. The county boss in return allegedly constructed a road towards his home as a way of thanking him for the same.
