A baby cow has stunned locals after being born with two heads and a human foot on a farm in Koigi, Nyamira County.
Mr James Arama who is the owner of the cow appeared shocked but said that the two heads of the cow were functioning well.
The two heads seem to be attached at the skull and he wants a veterinary to assist him separate them if possible.
"I was shocked when the cow gave birth to the calf but decided to keep it against the wishes of many," he said.
The calf according to him has four eyes, two mouths and is said to be feeding from both mouths.
Locals say that the giving birth of such a cow by the calf was a sign that witchcraft existed in the area.
"This is a rare case but once in a while we witness such matters. However, one day the people behind such will be caught," said James Matayo a local.
Elders in the area led by Mary Baba visited the home and threatened to curse whoever who is responsible for the incident.
"The owner is a well known farmer and the mention that this happened to him is sad," she said.
However, the owner has said that he will keep the calf.
