The man, Mr Wardere Mohamud Bule, has asked the Judicial Service Commission to investigate the conduct of Warsame with immediate effect.

He opines that Warsame is unfit to hold office hence he should leave room for a competent and dedicated judge to take over. The man said that Warsame has gone against the Judicial Code of Conduct in the line of duty.

The petitioner argues that Warsame, who is among the members of the JSC, has been fixing benches in the hearing of crucial cases.

Bule has promised to furnish the JSC with more details about his complains as he seeks for the removal of the Judge from office.

The petition linked Warsame to a team of judges receiving bribes from various corners.

“The petitioner prays that the JSC finds that the conduct of Justice Mohammed Warsame is in breach of the judicial code of conduct,” reads part of the petition, as quoted by Daily Nation.

The petition comes at a time when Judge Jacton Ojwang’s job is at stake.

JSC under the leadership of Chief Justice David Maraga has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to form a tribunal to remove him from office.
