Sarah Joslyn was arraigned before Principal Magistrate Bernard Mararo to face the charges of the crime allegedly done on diverse dates between January 9 and November 13, 2009.

The court heard that the accused forged a will of the late Richard Crawford, and was charged for fraud for purporting that the document was done by Crawford on August 14, 2018.

She was charged with making a document without the lawful authority of Crawford, a British national, charges that the accused denied, reports the Standard.

She was also charged with attempting to present the forged document to the High Court of Kenya registry in Nakuru on November 30, 2015.

According to the charge sheet, the accused knowingly presented the document, purporting that it had been done by her employer.

However, Joslyn denied making any fake document, with the judge pushing the next hearing of the case case to September 5, this year.

Elsewhere, officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations on Thursday arrested a defilement suspect allegedly involved in a rape case at Moi Girls High School on June 2, 2018.

Marcelas Olale who was part of team of actors that had visited the school for drama was reportedly identified by the victim, according to the DCI.

“Detectives handling the case are carrying out further enquiries including a DNA analysis to scientifically link the suspect to the offence,” said the DCI.

He is being held at Kilimani Police Station, pending tests to ascertain if he was indeed involved.
