It was not just about making long policy speeches but also about attendees enjoying themselves.

Dr Ruto was seen waving his hands as he moved his waist in a suit to Ahmed Chawki's 'Time of My Life.'

This is after one of the female attendees pulled the country's second in command and got him to dance.

Ahmed Chawki, an international artist whose songs have been used as theme songs for global soccer times, performed at the summit.

The summit took place at the Kenya International Conference Centre (KICC) and was attended by high profile dignitaries including Kenyan and United Nations (UN) officials.

President Uhuru Kenyatta attended the summit on Wednesday and pledged to ensure that female genital mutilation is done away with.

The summit successfully mobilized over 1000 financial commitments.

Attendees of the summit brainstormed on how to help solve some of the challenges that populations in the world grapple with.
