Khalwale has become the butt of online jokes after he was photographed collecting stones from a ditch and posing as if ready to swing into action and defend himself from rioting youths attacking Jubilee supporters.

This was on Thursday during the Kibra parliamentary by-election and Khalwale was in the area to 'guard' votes for Jubilee candidate McDonald Mariga.

Wondering whether the photo of the former Senator carrying stones was real or digitally manipulated, Kabogo advised Khalwale to consider owning a gun to protect himself in the future.

"By the way was that you or photoshop with earth stones. So ununue bazuka islee (Better buy a gun from Eastleigh)" the former county boss urged.

Khalwale's photos have been doing rounds on social media with netizens coming up with all manner of jokes.

They have even launched yet another online challenge to compete on who comes up with the best photo imitating the 'bullfighter's' stone stunt.

Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior has described Khalwale's photo armed with stones during the tension-filled Kibra mini-poll as the literal meaning of popular Biblical verse.

"The indefatigable Sen, Dr Khalwale. Let he without Sin cast the first stone! This was applied literally," Mutula tweeted.
