Flash city lawyer Donald Kipkorir on Thursday opined that Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu is in for a murky ride with the law.
His sentiments came after the High Court dismissed Waititu's bid to review his bail terms in the Sh588 million graft case against him.
In a tweet, the city lawyer pointed out that only President Uhuru Kenyatta is above the law.
"I said it was over for Ferdinand Waititu & I was trolled. With wings of wax, he flew close to the sun. Free advise umpteenth time: There is only ONE President in Kenya who has been given PEACE by the HANDSHAKE. Those disrespectful will all meet their Waterloo ..Midnight is Nigh!" he said.
On Thursday, Justice Ngenye Macharia held that he could not reduce the Sh15 million bail term nor suspend an order barring Waititu from accessing his office in Kiambu.
“I find no illegality in the order of trial Magistrate Lawrence Mugambi in ordering Waititu not to set foot in the Kiambu County offices pending hearing and determination of the case. The bail of 15 million shillings was also appropriate,” said Justice Macharia.
Waititu was barred from accessing his office until the completion of the case against him and his wife together with six other county employees.
